EducationThe Education Committee is responsible for researching podcast episodes and Know Your Rights pamphlets, as well as putting together quarterly teach-ins on relevant social justice and legal issues. We also coordinate internal education by presenting on current affairs to inform club members and publish a monthly newsletter with resources and updates. Most importantly, the education committee will be planning, coordinating, and leading an ACLU-themed CSRE class in the Spring focused on civil liberties and legal studies.
Education is perfect for new members interested in collaborating across ACLU, providing expert information through background research, and finding new and innovative ways to inform club members and the broader campus of important social justice issues. |
MediaThe Media Committee focuses on creating educational content on current issues surrounding civil liberties. The committee hosts, records, and produces a podcast, “Civil Libertrees” in which we interview guests such as professors, attorneys, and activists to share their expert opinions. Additionally, we create video content for the Stanford ACLU’s social media, all with the hopes to make political education more accessible to the public.

Marketing
The Marketing Committee primarily focuses on social media content creation, graphic design, and website development. Our goal is to inform a wider audience of the ACLU’s mission and create activism resources that are easily accessible to all. As a Core member, you will have a chance to combine your creativity with your passion for civil liberties and grow with a tight-knit community!
